Will This Look Good?

Ever wondered how something would look in a particular space? It's clear that you love the idea but you're not sure how it will actually look. In this situation you either just go for it and hope for the best or you miss out on what could be the perfect piece altogether.

Our "50 Shades of Pink" Event Design Concept

A moodboard helps me understand how individual pieces will work together. Will the room look boxy? Are there any clashing colors or patterns? Too many of one color? By seeing everything together I’m able to make better decisions and avoid any costly mistakes.

Before randomly grabbing something you find the next time you're out shopping, try planning your design before you buy.

Design Planning Tips

  • Decide on a color palette

  • Browse online for ideas or inspiration

If you're designing an event check out PartySlate or Pinterest

If you're designing a space check out Pinterest or Houzz

  • Take pictures and measurements of your space

  • Take note of the space at different times. The difference can be as great as night and day (LOL, get it?!)

  • Think about how you want to feel in the space- calm? energized, serene, excited, pumped...

  • Create a moodboard!

Do the extra work to plan a space you love or reach out and let us do it for you! Either way you will appreciate a well thought out space.
